1Music/Dance Ministry: The music and praise dance ministry encompasses all ages and styles of music from the traditional hymns to inspirational gospel and gospel rap. There are five (5) choirs; Combined Choir, Youth Choir, Inspirational Choir, Voices of St. James and the Male Chorus also known as Men of Faith. The dance ministry has an adult team; Sacred and the youth group; Praise God Now (PGN). 1Senior Adult Ministry: This ministry known as the SAM ministry focuses on those aged 50 to 65. The goal of this ministry is to promote spiritual growth by utilizing the knowledge and experience of the senior adults in the congregation. 1N.O.W. Ministry: This group encompasses Nurture, Outreach, Witness and Evangelism ministries focusing on spiritual growth and leadership within the church and the community. 1Singles/Family Ministry: These groups promote healthy spiritual relationships through faith based nurturing platforms for singles and families. 1Open Arms Ministry: The goal of the Open Arms Ministry is to improve the circumstance of families in the community by meeting their physical and spiritual needs. This ministry provides food, spiritual counseling and sponsors a FREE Rx program. 1Youth Ministry: The Methodist Youth Fellowship known as the MYF meets weekly to promote spiritual education, community service and awareness and physical and mental health for the youth ages 13 – 18 in the church and the community.
